Gentlemen

The General Tyree Harris Bell Camp has been a busy one the past few months.  I am proud of what you have done. We have received many compliments on the way we ran the Division Convention. It was a good one and will be hard to top. Good luck to Camp 302 next year as you have your work cut out for you.

We have been part of many projects including a pass the hat at the Division business meeting thanks to Camp 1804’s  Jim and Brian Cline.  The pass of the hat picked up about $250 for our “Real Daughter” donation. Camp 1804 added to the donation another $100. Our Camp will ear tag donations for our only “Real Son” in case of future needs. And  we are sending off a $100 donation for the Jefferson Davis Memorial.  After all this we still have money in the bank!!!

This past Spring Camp 1804 had members present or participating at various memorials including a visit  to a UDC Memorial in Lodi..  Our re-enactors have been a busy lot as we have been  present and at Mooney Grove, Knights Ferry,  Gibson Ranch,  Casa de Fruita, and at Duncans Mill .  As well as several school educational presentations. Salinas and Kearney are ahead for our CWRS members.

I encourage Camp 1804 to reach out and find new members. It would be nice to see us double our membership by the end of the year.

All For The SCV!

Deo Vindice

Camp 1804
